Our Founder

Mr. Wong Yuen Hay, James, Hon. FIHort (HK) Hon, is recognized as an expert and educator in floristry and horticulture in Hong Kong. He is well-versed in different international designs of the field, and is particularly passionate about promoting Chinese culture and floristry. With his special talents and wealth of experience, he has successfully established his own unique style in the industry. He has been in the business for over 50 years and is renowned for his total dedication, professionalism and creativity in the field. Over the years, he had been invited to act as chief designer of floristry and horticulture of five-star hotels. He is also the pioneer in contemporary funeral and empathy designs.

James spares no efforts in the development of horticultural as well as the advancement of professionalism in Hong Kong. He was awarded Honoury Fellow of the Institute of Horticulture for his contributions to the field. He is well-known for his devotion in promoting Chinese style floristry. He was invited by the Chinese Academy of Forestry (CAF) (中國 林業科學研究院 ) to participate in the China Flower Expo (全國花卉博覽會 ) held in Shanghai in 1997. It was the first international flower expo organized in China. With their distinguished joint horticulture designs, James and his partner, the then CAF Dean, were awarded the Grand Prize and three other major awards at this historic Flower Expo.
